At MotionApps, we take your privacy very seriously. We are NOT in the business of selling, renting or disclosing your personally identifiable information to others. As our customers are our top priority, this statement describes our commitment to your privacy.

Information that we track and gather


We record IP addresses (the Internet address of a computer) to track sessions on our site. Tracking gives us an idea of which parts and pages of our site users are visiting, how often they visit them, and how much time they spend there. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This means that even if your session is tracked, you still remain anonymous.


We also track browser type and platform. We use this information to deliver customized information specific to a particular platform and to determine the "mix" of browser types accessing our site. This information helps us make our site operate correctly with your browser.

We respect your privacy


As a user of the MotionApps website, you are asked to provide us with some personal information when you:

- Purchase MotionApps' product

- Activate a product

Shopping at MotionApps is safe and secure


When you make a purchase through the MotionApps website, we protect you with state-of-the-art Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, which is utilized by most popular browsers, including Firefox, Safari, Opera and Internet Explorer. This technology provides the advanced encryption tools necessary to protect information transmitted between your computer and our server. Encryption simply means that your information is converted into code before it is dispatched over the Internet.


In addition to SSL technology: Your personal account is password-protected, and it is our policy to never buy or sell this information to or from any third parties without your permission. Our secure server encrypts all personal information, including your name, address, and credit-card information; so that it cannot be read as it is transmitted over the Internet.


We do not store your credit card information in our database. We only have access to this information when you provide it during a transaction. While we store no credit card information in our databases or on our servers, we understand that your personal information is very sensitive.


Under no circumstances will MotionApps in any way retain or use your credit card information for any purposes other than billing.


To further protect the information you share with us, we have an exhaustive security system which includes: world-class firewall technologies; logical network segmentation (allowing restricted access to stored profile information); and logical and physical security restrictions to our databases and systems.

Cookies make your life convenient


Many Web sites, including MotionApps, use cookie technology to help our customers navigate more efficiently. The cookie is a small text file that resides on your hard drive. From time to time, our site will request the cookie from your browser so that we can retrieve the stored information. This prevents you from making the same selections over and over again. Knowing how you use the site enables us to better tailor our content and services to most effectively suit your needs. MotionApps never uses cookies to store personal information, such as credit-card numbers, nor can the information we store in the cookie ever be read by any Web site other than ours.

Upgrade and platform switch policy


If you already have a product from MotionApps, you can get 50% discount in the case of:

- Paid upgrades. When we release a new, major version upgrade of the product you bought (i.e. from 3.0 to 4.0), you can get it with a 50% discount.

- Platform switches. If you have bought an application for one phone (Operating System) and you want to use it on a new phone with a different OS, you can get the appropriate version for the new OS with a 50% discount. For example, if you were using mVoice on PalmOS and you have replaced your Treo with BlackBerry, you can get mVoice for BlackBerry with 50% discount. Please note that we are not supporting all of the applications on all Operating Systems: some applications run only on PalmOS or Windows Mobile OS. If you were using such an application, you cannot move your license to the new OS simply because the app for the new OS does not exist.


Important note: the policy applies only to the list price i.e. does not apply to the promotion or sale price.

Product Refund Policy


We strongly encourage our customers to try out our products before purchasing as refunds are not offered after activation code is issued and application activated.


To make this easy for you, we provide a free, fully functional, 7 days trial period for all our software. By doing so, we give everyone an opportunity to confirm that the software meets the needs and expectations and that it works well on your specific hardware, software and computer environment.


When, after having a chance to try out our software, you make a purchase and the activation code for the product is issued and software is activated on a device, we will not be able to honor your requests for a refund.

Software license usage


Please note that individual licenses are for one device only. Using the same licenses on multiple devices is treated as software piracy.


If our users wish to use the software on more than one device simultaneously, they need to purchase the license for each device.
