Full screen mode
We implemented the Full Screen Mode option to enable using Classic without notifications popping up and hiding important parts of Classic screen.

The feature allows you to switch to keyboard through one simple tap instead of pulling out the menu to access this same option.

Side By Side With webOS

Classic runs side by side with other webOS applications on your Pre. It is not a replacement for webOS and does not put webOS into a "classic" mode limiting its features. Instead, Classic runs the Palm OS applications inside the webOS environment without affecting other apps.

Improved Reliability

Palm OS applications running in Classic are actually more robust and reliable than on real Palm OS hardware. By leveraging the advanced webOS memory protection mechanisms, Classic protects the rest of your system from ill behaving Palm OS apps. Thus, they cannot impact other software on your phone or even bring it down completely.

Pixi support is added starting with Classic v2.1.2 and Classic now works on both webOS devices available: Pixi and Pre

Classic v2.1.2 comes with Backup functionality enabling automatic backup of all data in Classic.
